This coming Monday it is Labor Day. This holiday is a time to celebrate the men and women in the workforce. The first celebration in the United States the union workers had a parade to help show support for all unions during that time. More than 10,000 union workers took unpaid time off to be in that parade. During that time in the 1800s the average American would work 12 hour days 7 days a week.
